Malcolm Ngonidzashe is a child of Munashe Ngonidzashe and Ditsheho Ngonidzashe. He is the older brother to Crown Prince Paul Ngonidzashe. From his father's accession as King of Rwizikuru in February 2019 until October 2020, Malcolm was the Crown Prince of Rwizikuru, before being disinherited due to his disabilities.

Early life

Malcolm Ngonidzashe was born on 16 September, 2016 to Munashe Ngonidzashe and Ditsheho Ngonidzashe, at 08:43. With his birth, he displaced his uncle, Honore Ngonidzashe, in the line of succession, making him the second in line after his father.

The announcement of his birth was made over RIS radio and television at noon, with his name being announced at that time. On 23 September, 2016, he was baptized into the United Amended Church at the Saint Edward's Cathedral, as Malcolm Ngonidzashe.

Malcolm Ngonidzashe became heir apparent to the Rwizikuran throne on 21 February, 2019, when his grandfather, Izibongo Ngonidzashe died, and his father acceded to the Rwizikuran throne, and was formally named as Crown Prince on June 5, 2019.

However, due to severe developmental delays, Malcolm Ngonidzashe made very few public appearances. Thus, on 14 October, 2020, he was disinherited from the line of succession, and replaced by his younger brother, Paul Ngonidzashe, as Crown Prince.
