List of Emerstarian monarchs

This is a list of Emerstarian monarchs, that is, the Kings and ruling Queens of Emerstari, up to the present time.

History

Six hundred twenty-five-years after the collapse of the First Emerstarian Empire, and the separation of Emerstari into fourteen different kingdoms, Emerstari was reunited by the King of Corønska, Eric I of Emerstari. Eric I was a member of the House of Eric, or House of Eirikr, which, according to Marsei chronicler Amaury Chaput, can be traced to Harðild Hroudnersson. However, according to Halleran sources, the House of Eric can be traced to Emperor Uldrich Regenhardsson, but the line between Hroudnersson and Eric I was broken.

In the 16th century, Anders Magnussen produced a mythical line of Emerstarian monarchs, beginning with Noah, to prove the antiquity of the Emerstarian throne.

In addition to the list below, the Emerstarian throne was also claimed by the monarchs of Marseile from 1380 to 1604, the monarchs of Coelans from 1421 to 1472, and the emperors of Renochesvia from 1421 to 1438.

Emerstari has been ruled by forty-nine monarchs and six separate occasions by queens regnant: Elsa I Annikke (1338-1357), Erika I Henriette (1401-1416), Elsa II Nathalie (1529-1570), Katarina I Solveig (1604-1623), Annette I Maria (1704-1708), and Elsa III Marie (1879-1916).
