Emerstarian people (Emerstarian: Emersk) are a Scanian ethnic group and nation who are associated with the country of Emerstari. They descend from ancient populations of Scanians who migrated north 6,000 years ago from the Rhenish River to the Vernij River. Most Emerstarians speak Emerstarian as their first language, but other languages such as Halleran, Nordspreck, and Soumish are also spoken.
In addition to Emerstari proper, Emerstarian people and people of Emerstarian descent can be found internationally, in overseas territories such as Kophavien and Mailes as well as in countries historically influenced by Emerstari such as Canaria and the Green Union.
