The Auspicious Qi City (Huajiangite:吉祥齊城; Alphabetized Huajiangite: Jíxiáng Qíchéng), otherwise known as Qicheng(齊城) is the capital of Huajiang. The Auspicious Qi City was built under the last ruler of the Kingdom of Huajiang, Ling Hezhu, to replace the former city there, the Jin Gate. It was not completed as construction began in 1876, and was interrupted by the Huajiangite Civil War. It was soon the site that Ye Desheng had proclaimed victory from the civil war, and would later use it as the grounds of the Proclamation of the Republic of Huajiang. It is the current seat of the Huajiang Federal Government and was named after the Qi People. The city is located in between the North Sheng River and the Ren River.
All three branches of the Huajiang government are centered in Huajiang. The Huajiangite Executive Branch, the Huajiang Legislative Tang, and the Huajiang Judicial Tang. Qicheng still has several parts of the city that are dated back to the Kingdom of Huajiang as the Jin Gate. While it considered one of the oldest cities populated in Narisis, it has only recently begun serving a political purpose in 1881 as the center of the Huajiang government.
Qicheng has over 50 universities in the city and is considered an educational center within Huajiang, along with Shangchen, Ou Island and Kaiyang. Qicheng is one of the most populous cities in the world with a population of 12 million and the second-largest city in Huajiang.
