The Republic of Jeremiah is a sovereign state in western Hibernia founded in 1903 by members of the Church of the Latter-Day Saints under the direction of Prophet Jeremiah Rigdon. After a rebellion against Vespera in the region now known as Jeremiah. The state is theodemocratic in nature, with the LDS Church given special treatment by laws and controls the majority of powers within the state. In a agreement with Vespera, the island Jeremiah is located on is split between itself, controlling the vast majority of the farmlands and the resources, and Sagrado Corazon controlling the costal, industrial areas of the island. Jeremiah is one of the most recent states to be founded. It is, aside from the Sagrado Corazon bordered by Duquesne to the east, over the sea. Aside from it's status as a Mormon theocracy, Jeremiah is also known for it's large Reynish expat population. Jeremiah is a member of the Reynish Brotherhood, a organization founded by nations descended from Reynland.
