Alexander O'Brien (21 September 1990) is a Zanarkian officer currently serving in the Zanarkian Army under Task Force 141.
Alexander is childhood friends with Klankain Auchinleck IV and Richard Philip Todd. The three went to the same college, with Alexander graduating late as a result of his age. He was unable to join the two during the Second Lucis Civil War as he was still finishing his studies at the academy. It was during this time that he met Cameron Starcevich, whom he started a very close friendship with. Following the civil war, Alexander reunited with Richard and Klankain, finding that the two were promoted to Sergeant. Despite the difference in rank, the trio still held a very close friendship.
Later on, the four were scouted by then-General Kiriya Kitagawa to join a Task Force that he was creating. Hence, the four were amongst the first members of Task force 141. Alexander's role was that of a designated marksman in the group. Armed with a scoped E1A1 SLR, he excelled in his role so well that he was promoted to Sergeant-Major immediately by Kitagawa.
