Bretislavia, officially the Kingdom of Bretislavia is a sovereign country situated on the sothern continent on the planet Anteria, it borders New Gujo & Teckia to the North, and Dominicut to the south.
Bretislavia is federal parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy. The monarch is James IV, who has ruled since 1959.
Etymology and terminology
The "Bret" in Bretislavia comes from the patron saint of Bretislavia St. Bret. The "slav" comes from St. Brets half slav background, as his mother was slavic.
History
Background
40,000 years ago early modern humans settled what would become the lands of Bretislavia. These early modern humans (EMH) were a largely Germanic group, with Slavic culture among it. The larger portion of the Slavic settlers moved Southern towards the southern sea, where in 38 AD the first recorded civilization was formed by Slavic settlers, later, in 41 AD, the first recorded settlement in the northeast would be a Germanic one.
