The Sharifistani royal family is a clan known as the Khan clan or House Of Khan is the family of the Sultans of Sharifistan and the Prince-Regent of Sharifistan.

History
Part of the Ghilzai tribe, the Khans emigrated to Ottoman Turkey after the Conquest of Constantinople wishing to serve the Ottoman Army as cavalrymen (Sipahis). They swore alleigiance to the Ottoman Empire and to recognise it as a caliphate.
