The Alayna Cabriani-class is a class of nuclear-powered support battleship of the Cacertian Royal Navy and is the first large class warship to be designed without a main battery armament. The Alayna class was developed in secret for over three years by its sole designer, Captain Hanna Doria, and is currently considered the most modern vessel undergoing production by the Royal Shipbuilders of Cacerta. Although it primarily fulfills the role of a heavy battlecruiser, by Cacertian naval battle doctrine, the Alayna’s considerably heavy displacement and reinforced armor have categorized it as a battleship.

Meant to serve the purpose of transforming the current battle strategy of the Cacertian Royal Navy, the Alayna class was designed and built by Captain Doria as a transitory class to compliment Cacerta’s current naval roster as they transitioned from primarily battleships to missile cruisers.
