Insmerda (Ebrarese: Insmerda), officially the Ebrarian State of Insmerda (Ebrarese: Stato Ebrarian de Insmerda), is a state which comprises the eastern portion of the island of Bouenezenn in the Adlantic Ocean oof the coast of Yeetland region on the continent of Argis. Insmerda is a partially recognized state which was formed in 1978 after the Ebraro-Aurivizht War, with diplomatic recognition as a sovereign state by a number of countries on Eurth.

A demilitarized zone under the control of X stretches between Insmerda and Bouenezenn. By sea, Insmerda is south of Aurivizh and west of Ebrary.

Insmerda is a presidential republic with theocratic elements and close ties to the government of Ebrary. The president of Insmerda is directly elected and serves as both head of state and head of government, and a unicameral Senate is also democratically elected. However, the power of these democratic institutions are curtailed by the Insmerdan Ecumenical Council which represents the Insmerdan religious community and may override certain laws and decisions enacted by the other Insmerdan government institutions. However, in comparison to the government of Ebrary, the Insmerdan system is viewed as more democratic.

The Ebrarese language is the sole official language, with the Insmerdan dialect being predominant. The majority religion is the Christenist branch of Amendant Christianity, although there is also a growing population of Ebrarian Orthodox.

Ebrary guarantees the independence of Insmerda and garrisons a small military force on the island, while Insmerda itself engages in conscription to garrison its forces. Ebrary and Insmerda are also both signatories of the bilateral Ebrary-Insmerda Economic Agreement. Despite close relations to Ebrary, the state conducts independent elections and disagreements between the Insmerdan and Ebrarian governments have occurred on occasion.
