Bennett Naval Base, also known as ZNB Tofino, is a major naval base of the Zamastanian Naval Forces located in Tofino, Zian, Zamastan. It is directly south across Jericho Bay from Gaviria Park, located on the northern shore of the neighborhood of Tynehead and two miles north of Tofino International Airport. Originally built as the headquarters of the Skithan Royal Navy for their Euronian colonies in 1755, the base was renamed after famed War of Independence general Abraham Eble Bennett. The base served as the headquarters of the Zamastanian navy until 1870, when most of the navy's executive functions moved to Cunningham Naval Base in Jade Harbor. While Bennett is still an active base and serves to protect the capital of Tofino, it is largely symbolic in relation to other bases throughout the country. It is home port to several vessels, including the navy's newest Talon-class nuclear aircraft carrier, the ZMS Abotsford.
