Ilhaveia is the capital and largest city of Lutharia, located in the foothills of the Lutharian Alps and along the Woudd River, across the border from Auraine. It is the political, economic, and cultural center of the country. Following its rise to prominence in multiple empires, including the Drambenburgian and Mayottean kingdoms, it was nicknamed the "capital of Central Euronia" in the late 19th century. The metropolitan area of Ilhaveia had a population of 1,111,257 inhabitants at the 2018 census. The city was heavily damaged in the World War, but has since been restored. It is at the crossroads of several major transit points, including railways and highways which intersect between Zamastan and Drambenburg. The city hosts many international businesses and organizations, such as the Coalition Trade Organization. The city has hosted the 2004 World Cup and the 2018 Summer Olympics.
