Katharina II (Adelheid Brunhilde Clotilde Cunegunda Ermengarde Gisela Katharina Margaret Sophia Theodora Walburga Winifred; born 20 April 1984) is Empress of Angvar. She acceded to the Angvarian throne upon the death of her husband, Charles IV, on 30 January 2016.
The future Katharina II was born to the prominent Beintrussel family as the third of eight daughters to Frederick Helmut de Beintrussel, 15th Count Beintrussel and Adelheid von Ölthausen in Golkôg, Vitebellia, and was known as "Katie" to her family and close friends. The sisters, including Katharina herself, were sent by their parents to Hexentreffen where she was educated at Saints Cleophas and Redemptus' Boarding School and attended both Döhlbach College and the University of Ravensbruck, where she earned a degree in Arts and Letters. While working as an assistant librarian, she was invited to become one of the ladies-in-waiting to the Dowager Empress Lieselotte. In 2004, she married Charles IV, with whom she has three children: Charles Ernest, Crown Prince Imperial, Prince Adelbrand, Duke of Skarbolg, and Princess Annette, Duchess of Núrn.
