Media

Since its first game, the press has been following the Court Lords very closely. Since its third game, the list of selected players is announced in a press conference by the team' head coach. In 1915, a game of the Court Lords is broadcasted for the first time on the radio as part of the peace celebrations. In 1958, the Mutuleses discover their team for the first time on the television. The year after, the Mutli public channel Munane bought the exclusive rights over television casts of the Court Lords' games for a period of 5 years. Since then the contract is regularly renewed, although it often had to fight tooth and nail with nationwide competitors. Since 1991, the conglomerate Entratenimezun Cazini signed a contract with the Chosen Team for exclusive rights over games' broadcast within Sante Reze plus a non-exclusive contract for its subscription-based streaming web service in 2007. Over in the Latin World, the Verrucosi conglomerate has secured exclusive non-web broadcasting rights in 2014 for all of the Trans-Periclean FTA and Belfras where local broadcasters lost the bidding contest with the larger Belisarian company. Around the same time, the Phansi Uhlangan broadcaster Mpasiyangolo secured both TV and web rights for Phansi Uhlanga. This caused some controversies but it was ruled in court that it did not break previous engagements of the Chosen Team with Ucayare or Delphe-TV as their streaming services are unavailable in Phansi Uhlanga.

Revenues

Broadcasting rights represent the main source of revenues for the Chosen Team. Since 2019, Munane pay 55 million Solidus annually for broadcasting rights within the Divine Kingdom. Another major source of revenue is Sports marketing. The main sponsors of the team are the kit supplier Jalpul, the E-commerce platform Ucayare, the commercial banks Oxt'emu and Green Society, and the airline Xuman Air. Each pay 2 million solidus a year, with Jalpul paying 40 million a year for the rights to sell Court Lords' jerseys, kits, and other sportswear carrying their brand. Beside the five Tier 1 sponsors, there's also ten Tier 2 sponsors who each pay a million solidus a year to have their brand associated with the Chose Team. Finally, another ten tier 3 sponsors bring 500,000 solidus each to the team.
