Adolphe Géraud (born August 12, 1958) is the current President of New Pangus, having succeeded to the office due to the death of his predecessor, Giacomo Gianni. Géraud is currently finishing the final term from Gianni, due to expire on 1 January 2025, if he is not elected as President.
Early life
Géraud was born in Corvus, New Pangus, which was still Pangus at the time of his birth.
Education
Géraud attended the University of Spartia where he earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science. He was then accepted into a fellowship program at the University of Carigrad, where he taught and studied for his Master's in International Studies.
Career
Géraud spent much of his career working in the civil services of Pangus in the diplomatic corps. He was stationed to the Blackhelm Confederacy as a diplomatic attache, and was later stationed to nations such as Caprica, Jafala, and Scottopia. When Géraud was named to Giacomo Gianni's presidential ticket, there were concerns from Aquitayne and other non-EATA nations that he was closely aligned with east-Astyrian interests.
