The People's Republic of Rettoa, most commonly known as Rettoa, is a nation in north-central Euronia, bordered by the Slavic Union and Stasso to the west, Tyrtha and North Kandson to the south, and the Vasilin Sea to the north. The country has a population of 6.87 million people, with the capital and largest city being Skarivka, and other major cities including Dnesroca, Cearat, Leopolrok, Vsesko, Balatonlota, and Vaci.

The territory of Rettoa was previously home to several ancient cultures and has been ruled by numerous empires and dynasties, including the Parabocan Empire, Kandson Kingdoms, and the Slavic Union. Rettoa was the easternmost state within the Slavic Union until 1932, when it broke away in a revolution and became independent. Rettoa experienced a brief period of democracy after independence, lasting until 1946 when a military-led coup backed by the UCSS instated a communist government. Throughout the latter half of the 20th century, Rettoa was caught in tensions of the Vasilin Sea crisis, largely over the status of maritime boundaries and resources in the Roca Inlet. In 1988, a popular revolution broke out, and a military intervention by the Alliance of Central Euronian States prevented the government's overthrow. The same year, Rettoa and North Kandson signed the Treaty of Myrance and quelled most of the disputes. However, tensions escalated again in 2024 when the government of Ivan Tonovich aimed to claim ownership of the whole inlet.

The country has been led by President Ivan Tonovich since 2011, who rules an authoritarian government backed by an appointed executive council. There is extensive corruption in the government, worsening political repression, and a lack of religious freedom and other civil liberties. Rettoa is a member of the CCA and the Alliance of Central Euronian States.
