Chekumabvazuva is a district in Rwizikuru, which as of the 2011 census is the second-most populous district in the country, with 3.6 million inhabitants living in the district. It is home to the second-largest city of Rwizikuru, Chekumabvazuva, which serves as the district seat. It is bordered to the west by Parunoguma, to the north by Sangoguru kumaodzanyemba, to the east by the country of Garambura, and to the south by the Banfura Sea.
