The battle of the plains was one of the biggest battles of the war. It began on 1754 12 January when a Meyer cavalry detachment attacked an ill prepared group of Ehmann soldiers. Word of this came back to Dominik Ehmann who mustered his forces and took his troops to the battle. The War of the last stand was the last war that Friedrichländer fought. After the war the nation no longer existed due to being incorporated into Canton River Delta.
Incorporation into CRD
The incorporation into CRD was for some easier that other. Supporters of the former General Dominik Ehmann were happy to welcome the Cantonese as their new rulers for they Aligned them self with the progressive east. The slaves who were now freed by the Cantonese were happy to see them as their new rulers for the Cantonese promised equality for all and they kept their promise.
On the contrary the supporters of General Friedrich Meyer III were stance opponents of the Cantonese and wanted them gone as fast as possible. They protested against the new government and even tried to assassinate the new governor of Christopherbucht. All this lead to a counter revolution where the Meyers tried to break free from CRD and form an independent country again. But this plan feel trough due to the troops that were stationed in Christopherbucht. The rebels tried to fight but in the first and last battle of the short lived rebellion their leader, Friedrich Meyer III, died.
With this the last large organist opposition against CRD was gone. There were some small groups who wanted the Cantonese gone but never again that would threaten the new prefectures.
Politics and Government
Friedrichländer was a stated that was founded by Gadori general Friedrich Meyer I. When the Gadori government sold the colonies to CRD the general refused to go back to Gadorien and set up his own state with himself as the ruler. The General has absolute power and the title was a hierarchical one.
