"Bad Romance"(悪いロマンス) is a 2015 cover song by Shiori Akiyama. This was her only song that she ever recorded and became to be very popular with civilians and soldier alike. This was the one of the two cover songs to be sung by a Forces Sweetheart.
Music and Lyrics
The song was originally sung in English but also having a Nihhonese version. The song tells about a woman who had fallen head over heels for a man that she truly loved. The bond between the two is very strong that both are prepared to take on even the sickest and deepest situations for them to enjoy each other. The woman refuses to acknowledge a friendly relationship but rather, an intimate one.
Shiori said in an interview that she based her reference on her relationship with her lover and how he had helped her overcome her violence in her adolescent years. It was her request that it would be released on the 19th of May in time for his birthday.

Music Video
At the start of the music video, Shiori is dressed in a blue outfit holding a sort of a weapon during a nocturnal setting in an empty field as a reflection of arrogance. She looks at many men but finds that none of them were perfect for her. She then arrives at a poor lighted hallway and sings in a sinister way as she walks forward. As the chorus arrives, She seduces a man she considered perfect on the bed but turns out to be a dream as the chorus transition changes. Later, She is confronted by a man wearing a white mask (played by Tatsumi Sugiyama) who walks pass by her and catches her attention. Sensing that he is perfect, She tries to make him hers but she couldn't unless she changed. She then dips herself into a bathtub full of water. Her body appearance changes with her no longer sporting excessive make-up and numerous body accessories. Her personality changes from that of a arrogant, seductive woman to a polite socialite. She dresses in a black coat, skirt and thigh-high boots and finds the man in a mask once again but this time, she successfully makes hand-to-hand contact with him and removes his mask to reveal his face. The pair then share a gentle kiss, which they turn into a seductive moment with each other stripping one's clothing. As the song proceeded its end, The two then run into the hallway at the start of the video, which was now lighted. The two return to the place where she started off to find that the place was raining with red petals. As the video ends, The two kiss. For the dance scenes, She retained her black dress as she danced off with 5 females in back.
