Tatsumi Sugiyama (19 May 1990) is a Lucian officer serving in the Lucis Armed Forces. He became an actor for one film with his lover, and later spouse, Shiori Akiyama. He is also the grandson of Major General Archibald Sugiyama and Brigadier Tsukuyo Kushineda, both veterans of the Second Europan War.
Early Life
Tatsumi was born in Cardiff to Colonel Albert Sugiyama and Hoshino Kirasaki. He is of Nihhonese and Lucian descent. He is the youngest son of the 4 children of the couple. He graduated from the University of St. Georgius before he enlisted in the Lucis Army. He became a biology professor in the King's Military Academy of Manchester before he served his full military term. He is close with his cousins, Akiko Sugiyama and Yukiko Sugiyama, both of which were his closest and most loved cousins.
Military Career
Guiding Shiori
In 2011, Shiori Akiyama, who had been in seclusion since early adolescence, had to be turned into an open socialite. Her only friend, Rena Shimazawa appealed to Tatsumi for help. Tatsumi knew that Shiori had been secluded and has heard of stories of her from Rena. For a year and a half, Tatsumi tried to doctor her deep seclusion and violence. It was hard for Tatsumi because she kept on hurting and even avoiding him. He once stated that she even threw hot water on him. When he induced her with some sleeping pills, He had every situations under control. For the last six months, Shiori regained her self-control and was on the road to recovery. She fully recovered in June 2012. He immediately left her but unknown to him, Shiori had desires to find him.
Personal Life
Tatsumi had been an a firm Roman Catholic, The religion of his grandparents. It was because of Tatsumi's influence that Shiori converted from Angelicanism to Roman Catholicism. He is also a fan on Nihhonese anime and has collected various figma's. Since 2013, Tatsumi has been in a relationship with Shiori Akiyama and has secretly revealed plans of proposing to her in the future. He has appeared on two of the music videos for Shiori's songs; Bad Romance and Paparazzi. He also produced two films with Shiori, The Young Noctis and My Wife is a Crazy Pervert. Tatsumi also provided the male voice overs for the male lines in Shiori's songs.
In an interview on the behind the scenes during the filming of the music video for Paparazzi, Tatsumi revealed his plans of proposing to her soon. The proposal was confirmed in an interview of the behind the scenes on the DVD set of My Wife is a Crazy Pervert. He and Shiori made a two-movie comeback in 2020 for the spin-off to Orbis Mortem, Spira Intus and for the 2022 film, Mamma Mia!.
Since slowly retiring from entertainment with Shiori, The two have now hosted their own online cooking show at the Alto Reel website titled The Tatsumi and Shiori Cooking Show That is Totally Not Filled With Sexual Content. They have currently have gathered 25,000 subscribers.

- Tatsumi is the shortest of his siblings, rising only up to 5'6 inches and almost poorly, if not, non-athletic.
- He is very skilled in Accounting, World History and most importantly, Culinary Arts.
