Slovertské Železnice is a railwag company in Slovertia, it is a private Joint-stock Company with the government of Slovertia being the sole shareholder of the company. Slovertské Železnice is split into four branches. These are Northern, Southern, Western and Freight. Slovertské Železnice runs a majority of rail transport services in Slovertia. The company was formed in 1995 after the privatisation of the State-run rail service which went by the same name. Slovertské Žekeznice has been noted fir its reliability and frequency of trains.

History

Structure

SŽ is split into various subsidiaries and organisations. This includes the public bus service known as TERRA as well as light rail services such as the Brativas Tram Network. TERRA was bought by SŽ in 1991 and is split into Metro and Cross-Country branches. The first serves Sloverti cities whilst the latter serves inter-city and other routes within the country. The Tramways branch operates light rail systems in Brativas and operated the light rail in Kojbakvy until 2012 when they were bought by the private company Elektronika. SŽ runs almost all passenger lines in Slovertia these services are split into Inter-City and Cross-Country lines. The SŽ MERAN branch runs the high speed line that connects Slovertia to it's neighbours Nikolia, Khyragus and Berique within Slovertia.
