The Svajec-class was a group of heavy cruisers built by the Republic of Syara. Along with the Kylacky-class and Curpasi-class, they were intended to fill the Cruiser Gap between the Navy of the Syaran Republic and the Cacertian Empire.
First laid down in 1930, six ships were planned but the outbreak of the Siduri War cut production in half. Only three were ultimately completed, Intrepid Wanderer and Honest Heart in 1934 and Unbroken Spirit in 1935. The class saw extensive service in the Sundering Sea Campaign and participated in some operations in the Nuandan Ocean. Honest Heart served nearly the entire war as a commerce raider and convoy escort, while Intrepid Wanderer and Unbroken Spirit sortied out frequently as part of larger forces. Unbroken Spirit was torpedoed by a Mansuri submarine in 1937 and sank; she was refloated after the war and broken up for scrap. Intrepid Wanderer was sunk in 1937 by the Cacertian Isa Frazione-Class Battleship Orfeo Tramontano while operating in the Bara Sea. Honest Heart survived the war but was scuttled by the Syarans in March 1938.
