Elias Zacpal (born (1943-11-11)November 11, 1943, Elias Medard Zacpal) is a Drezquenian politician and former professional hockey player who has served as the President of Drezquenia since December 8, 2004. He was elected President following the 2004 Drezquenian Election where Zacpal would win 61% of the votes. He has since had four successful re-elections, including the 2012 and 2016 where he ran unopposed.

Since his inauguration, Drezquenia's average pay has gone up over 140%, the population crisis of 1990 has subsided, and the literacy rate in the nation rose from 62% to 98%. He's been called 'The Best Drezquenian President in History', while Elias Zacpal International Airport and Pržemców-Zacpal Grand Station are name in honor of him, and he is also pictured on the Drezquenian $5 note and the 50 cent coin.

Elias Zacpal and his wife Svetlana Zacpal (né, Kratochvílová) got married on April 4, 1978. Svetlana, who is the current First Lady of Drezquenia, is a former Olympian who competed on Drezquenia's women's pole vaulting team for two olympic games and the triple-jump team for one olympic games, between the 1974 Summer Olympics and 1976 Summer Olympics. As part of the pole vaulting team, she'd end in fourth in the 74' Olympics, and would win silver at the 76'. In the 76' Olympics, Svetlana would also win bronze in triple-jump.

Elias and Svetlana have four biological, and one adopted, children. They had three biological sons: Oto (1979) and Augustýn (1987), as well as Nikolas (1982-2022) who passed away after heart failure on 24 February, 2022. Elias and Svetlana also have one biological daughter; Klára (1984). In 2004, Elias and Svetlana would adopt Albarinean-born, Oliver (2003).

Oto is a member of Drezquenia's national men's hockey team, as a goaltender and is the oldest current member of the team. Nikolas served as the Ambassador of Drezquenia to Alecburgh from 2015 until his death his 2022. Nikolas previously served as Mayor of Beluga Cove in Valenburgh, Alecburgh from 2010-2015. Augustýn is a incumbent member of Drezquenia's Congress since 2015. Klára is a member of Drezquenia's Women's Football Team and the DWFL (Drezquenian Women's Football League) as part of the East Pržemców FC, where she plays as a striker, and a captain of both.

Oliver is currently attending the University of Tábor, in Tábor Province with a major in secondary education and a minor in history.

Elias Zacpal is a large supporter of the Drezquenian Football and Hockey teams, and even had tried out for the Drezquenia National Hockey Team back in 1972 and managed to get on Reserves, but would end up being cut before the 73' Winter Olympics.
