The United Planets (Thyssian: , Bahaki Pejad), also known as the Ternary Alliance and the Empire, is a Aleph plus hyperpower located in the galactic core of the Template:Milky Way Galaxy. The United Planets consists of a vast number of solar systems and worlds. The ecumenopolis of Rholosh, in its eponymous system, serves as the capital, as well as the economic and political hub of the empire.
Considered the most populous galactic polity, it is a highly diverse multispecies empire though dominated politically, socially, and economically by the Thyssians. The official state ideology and religion is the Threefold Path, which has been described by the ORI as a hyperviolent apotheotic state cult.
