Achsburg (Temarian: [ˈaχsbuəɕ]; Hesurian: [ˈaχsbʊʁk]; Cuthish: Asburgh) is the capital city and most populous settlement of Temaria with 310,724 inhabitants in 2019, situated on the mouth of the river Ermel at Lake Sigismund. Comprising approximately a sixth of the country's entire population, Achsburg is Temaria's primate city, one of the largest urban areas in Telmeria at large, and the third-largest in the Lake Sigismund region (after Lansbruck, Lilienburg City, and Alderport).
