Daniël Jan Christian Jaco CSM (born July 15, 1951) is a Satavian film director, producer and writer. He is perhaps best known for his epic, romance and historical films. Jaco first gained international recognition for the 1995 film Golden Bridge which was nominated for the Béco aùreo at the Montecara Film Festival, but lost. Other films directed by Jaco include Journey Back (1997), Rose (2000) and 9th Brigade (2005). Jaco found critical and commercial success with the release of A Secret in 1999, which earned him multiple nominations and the Béco aùreo. Pienaar, released in 2021, also earned him nominations in similar categories.

Jaco founded Lighthouse Studios in 1993, but sold the studio to the Satavian Broadcasting Corporation in 2011. Jaco has also produced multiple television programmes and films, primarily for the SBC. Some of his works are the amongst the highest-grossing Satavian films of all time, holding the positions of first, second, eighth and ninth.
