Beat Hochmuth (born February 5th 1985) is a Shoassauan professional footballer playing as a forward for Pedeit FC since 2018 and for the Shoassau national football team since 2006. He began his professional career with Staventer Union from 2003-09, and at Haute City FC from 2009-18. He is widely regarded as the best Shoassauan footballer in history, one of the few players to have made over 1,200 professional career appearances, and has scored over 700 official senior career goals for club and country, making him one of the top goalscorers of all time. He has been on the winning teams of four EFC Nations Leagues, two EFC Champions Leagues, and one World Cup (in 2022, where he was also named MVP). He is one of the world's most marketable and famous athletes.
