The Confederal Navy (Anglish: Loosebound Shipfyrd; Northumbric: ᚪᛗᛒᚱᚢᚳᚪ ᛈᚪᛏᚪᛝᛏ, Ambruca Patamangkt) is the branch of the Ambrosian Confederal Armed Forces responsible for the naval and maritime operations of the Ambrosian Confederal Republic. Its primary mission is the defense of Ambrosian waters and ensuring free access to sea lines of communication; in this capacity it partakes in a variety of icebreaking, surveillance, and anti-piracy operations.

With roots dating back to that of the North Sea Realm's Common Fleet in the 14th century, the Ambrosian Navy is one of the oldest in Nordania. The Confederal Navy as presently-constituted was established by the Naval Act 1850, amalgamating the defunct Royal Ambrosian Navy with the thanedred coastal and riverine defense forces. Since then, it has formed a central part of Ambrosian defense and power projection, with extensive service in various conflicts such as the Great War of the North, Continental War, and the War of the Njord.

The Confederal Navy is a blue water navy, operating a wide-range of surface craft as well as a nuclear-powered submarine fleet that make up a central portion of Ambrose's ballistic missile delivery system. Confederal Navy ships are prefixed with CSS ("Confederal Sailing Ship"), though the only true sailing ship remaining in commission is the CSS Warspite.
