The Temloth (from Khadenz Oth ti'Tema, "River of Night") is the longest river in Cadenza. It rises above the Tamari Valley and flows 40 kilometres to enter the Sea of Jajich below the city of Cadenza. Its estuary encompasses the Port of Cadenza.

Course

Tamari Valley, source of the Temloth

The Temloth rises above the Tamari Valley, pouring over the cliff face to form the Tamarind Falls. It is a narrow channel as it quickly descends from the mountains, following a course due east. After 26 kilometres it is joined by the smaller Mohzladi ("High Stream"), coming from the northwest, right outside the city limits of Cadenza. The two rivers flow together through the city, filling a long, wide estuary.

A number of bridges cross the river in Cadenza, including the C1 motorway and the famous Swan Bridge, and a tunnel carrying an intercity railway line passes underneath.
