Gérwazy Zenón Jachònski (Leco-Osonian: Gèrvasi Zenun Iahüènsci) was the fifth President of Lecistan from 13 October 1987 to 2 May 1995. Born in Parma, Odissia in 1927, Jachònski entered politics in 1985 as the deputy of Niékowo in the Royal Chamber under the National Party ticket. After the dissolution of the Royal Chamber in 1986, Jachònski was appointed as President on 13 October 1987 by Michôł I. His presidency was seen as average, since he stayed away from controversial topics and even dismissed Lecistani politics as "something for the weak of mind to engage in". He retired from the political scene in 1995, and passed away on 19 August 2014 at the age of 87.
