Juwari, formally known as Juwari Gurun, is a country in North Ochran bordered by Tsurushima. A relatively large, economically developed nation, Juwari is dominated by the Ukai mountain range in the East, named for the Crown Clan of the nation. Juwari identifies itself as an union of the Mankut Peoples, with thousands of Clans representing their interests in the Royal Diet.
Juwari possesses a unique economic system, balancing social welfare, aristocratic duties and free enterprise. The Summer state maintains balance, the Clans are allocated industries and businesses to control and maintain for the good of the people as a whole, with competition between clans encouraged, for fame, glory and economic and political success. The Crown Clan, the Ukai, maintain heavy economic investments in vital industries like the railways, steel production and utilities. Trade with the outside is handled by the Minister for Administering Foreign Tributaries, who strictly regulate what can and cannot enter Juwari. This ability makes the office highly powerful and lucrative. The Crown knows this, and rewards the most loyal and efficient Clans with appointments to this department. The Juwari economy is decentralized, with local administrators relying on minimal taxes and Clan subsidies to operate. This is deliberate, as the state sees balance between all classes as the ultimate goal in Juwari. The Juwari economy is large and well developed, with major industries being construction, heavy industry, energy, High quality agriculture, canned foods, weapons, and consumer goods. The economy is highly agrarian, with the more urban areas experiencing a technological boom. Juwari maintains trade relationships with most nations in the world on a limited scale, though preferential trade deals are maintained with socialist-oriented states such as Tsurushima and Jhengtsang.
Juwari has earned its reputation for being an extremely diverse and geographically rugged nation, one dominant ethnicity, religions, and a unified language. The north and west of Juwari is generally very cold, with frequent snowstorms.
History
History of Juwari Juwari's origins date back to the Bayarid Empire, when the earlier tribes of Mankut people had settled in the present city of Welesi. The Bayarid Empire was in it's ascendancy, and the Mankut Confederacy was briefly created to defend the interests of the Mankut peoples in the face of the Bayarids. Early contact led to a singular, decisive battle at Welesi, where the Mankut Confederacy won a Pyrrhic victory through the use of the nearby Ukai Mountains. This victory left the Confederacy of Tribes unwilling to continue a prolonged struggle, and so offered to become honoured vassals of the Bayarid Great Khan, which was accepted in a formal ceremony. The Mankuts were then governed by local representatives in tandem with the Khagan's female administrators, to great effect. The Mankuts grew to respect the Bayarid's system of governance, striving to remain distinct as a people while being loyal. The Mankuts would develop effective farming tools in this time, making them influential in deciding whom the next Khagan would be, and if his rule would be successful in the far east. Many Juwari men became Avakhjad in the Khanate, while women from Juwari were elevated into either administrative roles, local deification, and the most beautiful, sent to the Great Khagan himself as concubines and wives. This would lead to the crowning achievement in Juwari's history, the successful establishment of a Juwari claimant on the throne of the rump Bayarid Empire. Defiling it more, the Mankut Dynasty was led primarily by women, setting the precedent that would last unbroken till today. This plan would be the culmination of two decades of political maneuvering, enthroning Jiaorenshi Khatun as the first of the Mankut Dynasty. This period would lead to the enrichment of the 'Great Eastern Heartlands', roughly the modern territory of Juwari, at the expense of the western territories. Combining this with other external factors, led the Bayarids to eventually contract, till the Great Eastern Heartlands reformed into Juwari, with the remaining Mankut aristocracy of the Bayarids assimilating into powerful Mankut Clans.

Government and politics
Juwari Socialism, is the unique government form utilised in Juwari, and despite it's name, and it's cultural value, cannot be described as socialism from the perspective of an outsider. Juwari Socialism is the 'Natural Evolution' of Juwari philosophy and politics. It stresses the permanent balance between the Aristocracy (Wesihun Mukun) the Merchants (tuwelesi) the Commoner (uthai niyalma) and the Crown (Han) in governing an efficient, diversified economy for the people as a whole's benefit. The Aristocracy, expressed in the Clans, maintain a strong influence on the economy, with clans fueling investments, subsidies, of all industries in Juwari. For instance, one of the Agricultural Clans, the Jiqia, run the irrigation systems in North West Juwari. They are expected to perform well through competition against other clans, regular interrogations by the Clan Court, and prestige. The Crown maintains the right to allocate Clans to industries in this way. To compare to western political philosophies, Juwari's political system would be similar to a Feudal Guild system with elements of technocracy.
