The Valentinian Islands (Abelanan: Illas Valentinas, Sagrian: Illes Valenties, Lavish: Ilhas Valentinas), officially the Duchy of the Valentinian Islands (Abelanan: Ducado das Illas Valentinas, Sagrian: Ducat de les Illes Valenties, Lavish: Ducado das Ilhas Valentinas) is an island nation located off the coast of Cardia. It is located off the eastern coast of Abria. It's capital and largest city is Cee. The primary national language of the Valentine Islands is Abelanan while Lavish serves as the second official language.

The Valentinian Islands have been inhabited as far back as the 4000s BCE. Despite its close proximity to Cardia the islands were able to resist conversion to Ditanery until the 1200s when the Kingdom of Abelana conquered the islands in a crusade to spread Ditanery. As a result of the conquest, non-Ditanerists had to either convert to the faith or face exile from the islands in order for the king of Abelana to spiritually heal the population. In 1428 the newly-renamed Valentine Islands became a duchy in the Kingdom of Abelana which would later become a part of the Cathartic Empire of Cornicae. The Valentine Islands' small and seemingly inconsequent position within the Lavarian Empire began stirring up calls for indipendence in the early 1900s. Indipendence was finally achieved in 1945 when the Valentine Islands and Lavaria reached an agreement where the Duchy of the Valentine Islands would become an indipendent duchy no longer under Lavarian crown.
