Sir Makihiro Sagisaka KG, GCB, CLE (18 August 1912 - 21 May 2010) was a senior Lucian-Nihhonese officer and general who served the Lucis Armed Forces and fought during the Estharian Civil War, the Second Europan War, and the War of Lorican Aggression. Sagisaka is best known for being the leading Allied commander on the Asianna and the Pacific Campaign during the Second Europan War.
He was also the commander that prevented Imperial land forces, consisting of Quenminese, Archadian, and Guadonian troops from landing into Nihhon-koku during the Battle of Nihhon-koku. He eventually became the commander of the Lucis Commonwealth Occupation Force of Quenmin after the war.
Sagisaka is well-known for his cooperative style of warfare. According to most RAF marshals, Sagisaka gave the RAF a lot of air cover just enough for them to provide air support for his troops. Because of this, Air Marshal Arthur Mallory formed a bond with him and became close friends. He is also a keen strategist, making sure that he knows where to hit the enemy the hardest.
In Nihhon-koku, Sagisaka is honoured as one of the greatest Nihhonese heroes and many places and monuments were named after him.
