The Andria Fleet, also known as Task Force Andria, is the Cacertian Royal Navy’s fleet stationed in the Kingdom’s extraterritorial region of Andria. The Andria Fleet is second in size to the Center Fleet, serving as Cacerta’s main expeditionary navy in western Tyran with its primary responsibility being the defense of Cacertian interests in the Nuandan Ocean and the Sabri Sea. As a result of the Andria Protectorate’s remote location from the Home Islands, the Andria Fleet also serves the role of operation command for all Cacertian military forces in the west.
Much like the other fleets of Cacerta, the Andria Fleet was established in 1921 during the post-Divide War reorganization and was the first fleet to engage Inner Sphere naval forces in the opening months of the Siduri War. The Andria Fleet suffered extensive casualties through the duration of the conflict over the course of several dozen engagements. Along with the Center Fleet and the Southern Fleet, elements of the Andria Fleet participated in the Battle of the Sabri Sea which is considered by most historians to be the final major naval battle of the war. In the modern era, ships of the fleet supported Cacertian and allied forces during the Nalayan Civil War.
