The Reichstag (Engleanischer Reichstag) is the bicameral Englean federal parliament, and the only body that is directly elected by the Englean populace on the federal level. The Reichstag was established by the Imperial Decree of 1856 in response to liberal revolts that occurred within the nation calling for more representation in the government. It does not legally have any connection to the previous Reichstag from 1748.

Members of the Reichstag are representatives elected by the Englean populace, and are accountable to both their electorate and the Englean Emperor. The Reichstag is elected every four years by citizens of the Englean Empire, with populations of overseas protectorates voting in the Gebietstag.

The function of the Reichstag is to act as the legislative branch of the Englean Empire along with the Reichsrat. It is commonly stated that each are separate bodies, but the Bundestag and Bundesrat nevertheless work together in the lawmaking procedure - writh the Reichsrat generally having more "power."

The Reichstag is nominally headed by the Imperial Chancellor, with the Reichsrat being headed by the President of the Reichsrat, Emperor Siegfried.

Currently the Reichstag is seated in the Reichstaggebäude in the capital city of Engelberg. The current president of the Reichstag is Marwin Kaulbach, who has been in office since 2016.
