Agents of Adventure is an animated Durnian educational series on DRS. The show follows siblings Jacek and Arleta Durkin and their team of friends as they travel the world to learn about animals and foil the environmentally harmful plans of the Yalensky United Korporation (Y.U.K.). The show is geared towards a target audience of 8-11 years old.
The show first premiered on March 22nd, 2007 and the final episode aired on July 1st, 2015 after running for 5 seasons.
Format
Each episode begins with a short live-action introduction to a creature by Jacek and Arleta before transitioning to the animated segment. The group, known as the Agents of Adventure, then introduces a specific creature to the audience before travelling to a location where the creature can be found. Either during or after the search for the episode's creature, the focus will shift away from the agents to introduce the episode's problem to the audience. This problem is either a natural danger or the presence of one of the series' villains. After the agents have located the episode's creature they will begin to follow and study it, doing so out loud so the audience can learn too. When the agents learn of the problem, usually after it endangers on of them or the creature(s) they're studying, they will work to fix it. Each episode ends with another short live-action segment in which Jacek and Arleta summarize everything learned about the creature during the episode.
