The Kalater Mountains are a range of mountains stretching across Central Adula measured at roughly 2,000 km (1242 mi) in length. They extend from Lake Gravenna in the East to the Bay of Morevo in the West and pass through the nations of: Durnstaal(90%), Alcarres(6%), Saudi Jiddiya(3%), and Alonnisosa(1%).

The mountain chain's high altitudes and location near the equator lead to a unique mixing of biomes, ranging from snow-covered alpine forests near the peaks to boreal tundra along the slopes and even pockets of desert along the northern face. Many of the hardier forms of Central Adulan vegetation are native to the region, including two species of lichen endemic to the chain.
