Sui Anyi (Anikatian: 수이안이; Kyjianu: 綏安憶; Suī ānyì; born 10 April 1969) is the 7th and current President of Anikatia, she entered office on the 14 November 2014.

Early life

President Anyi was born in the Anikatian countryside in 1969 in Jinju Jedo, in a village near Kasutano. In 1965 she joined her father was a building worker, with her mother and younger sister, and grew up in the suburbs of Haebyeol, a city the state of Akyannya. She was brought up in a Yeosindo household, though because the rise of the DSRA it was heavily suppressed and kept mostly secret among the family and local religious community.

She describes herself as a "non-practising Yeosindoist"

Education

She graduated from the Byeuksun State University with masters in Economics and Political Studies in 2005. While at university she had to join the Communist People's Party of Democratic Socialist Republic of Anikatia, and remained a member until the party was dissolved in July 2001.

Entry into politics

She joined the Party of Socialist Unity in 2005 and led actions to strengthen local democracy, the fight against discrimination, promotion of citizen rights, and access to employment and housing. On 1 May 2012, she was appointed to the leader of the Party of Socialist Unity.

Presidency

On 14 November 2014, she was elected president in the third round of voting; Sui was sworn in immediately thereafter. Her presidency has been described as a "landmark shift in Anikatian politics", for being the first socialist in the post-DSRA as well as the female president of Anikatia.
