The Albyekreu class is the first of a class of Anikatian nuclear-powered supercarriers of the Anikatian Navy Forces. Which for the first time would have offered true blue water aviation capability for the Anikatian Navy Forces. This was based upon the experience of Motyekkoyu-class. Originally up to eight vessels were planned and the hulls were laid down, but following the end of the Cold War and fall of the DSRA construction was cancelled for the remaining four vessels. Three vessels were completed with a further one ship structurally complete but without electronics systems or power plants installed. However lack of funds in defence budget in the post-Cold War era left it in limbo.
Design
Albyekreu was meant to be the first of a class of eight carriers, but construction costs ballooned and the remaining vessels were never laid down. Because of the huge cost of her construction, Instead only one vessel entered service with the Anikatian People's Navy before the end of the Cold War. The Albyekreu carriers were ordered to supplement the aircraft carriers of the Motyekkoyu-class, expanding the strength and capability of the People's Navy. The ship was an improvements on previous aircraft carriers, in particular the addition of nuclear power plant allowed far greater range and speed when compared to the Motyekkoyu-class and the larger design improved amount of aviation fuel and ordnance carried. The designers had also originally envisaged a design large enough to operate the newer larger designs such as a navalised variant of the MyL-21 under consideration, however the MyL-23 fighters then under development would become the main fighter of the new class. There were initial concerns these new later fighters would not be able to operate from the Motyekkoyu-class. Although later testing proved this to be false and MyL-23 could operate from the smaller carriers. In fact, development costs and major delays were a bigger problem to the MyL-23 program.
Air Wing
Operating as the mainstay of the naval aircraft projection power it has operated a large number of aircraft in its service life, the main tactical aircrafts flown by the Albyekreu carriers were Ay-04 variable sweep wing fighter-bombers, Ay-05 multirole fighters, most recently the Ay-105 and MyL-23 fifth generation fighters initially thought to heavy to operate from the carrier have achieve success in testing. Helicopters, VTOL and auxiliary aircraft operated on the Albyekreu consist of Chk-14 multirole medium helicopters, Tu-64 and Chk-18 VTOL for logistics; transports and Tu-62EW is used for airborne early warning.

Exports
While this type was never exported during the Cold War period. Since its collapse of the DSRA in 2001 and subsequent opening of its markets along with the creation of Anikatian International Trade and Export Corporation (ANKITEC), the design was considered a likely candidate for export to emerging powers. However, the Anikatian government placed a strict ban on exports despite being unable to fund the operation of all the vessels built and the one unfinished hull.
