The Federal Chancellery of Werania (Weranian: Bundeskanzlei; Ruttish: Federalinė kanceliarija) is a government agency in Werania that serves as the national level civil service in the country. It therefore serves as the permanent bureaucracy of the country supporting the federal government.

Not all members of the civil service work for the Federal Chancellery; the majority (around 2.4 million persons) work instead for the bundesländer governments. The federal judiciary is also managed by a separate civil service corps as are the military. As a result although the Federal Chancellery is often used colloquially to describe civil servants in Werania it is more accurately applicable only to those who work on the federal rather then state level.

The majority of members of the Federal Chancellery are recruited via competitive civil service exams. Membership into the Federal Chancellery is open to all Euclean Community citizens although certain departments restrict hiring solely to Weranian nationals.

The Federal Chancellery is headed by the Federal Chancellor who is appointed to the post by the Bundestag. The current Federal Chancellor is Isabella Leitgeb who was appointed in July 2011 and re-appointed in 2016 to another five year term.
