Razzia state
A Razzia state (Gaullican: état-razzia) is a term used in contemporary Euclean Bahianology and Irfanology to describe the Irfanic states which emerged among the Ndjarendie and other peoples of the Boual ka Bifie during the Bahian Consolidation. It has also been applied more broadly to Irfanic states on the frontiers of the Irfanic world which engaged in similar raids, such as those in Satria. The term is derived from the Rahelian term ghazwa (غزو, ġazw), which entered Gaullican as razzia, a word for the religiously motivated conquests of Irfanic Rahelian forces during the early Irfanic period. These states differed in their organisation, but were usually defined by the presence of a strong religious authority which more often than not wielded secular authority as well, and a fluctuating territory centred upon one capital city. The impact of the Razzia states on the expansion of Irfan was important, as they often acted independently of the Dominion of Heaven and were able to spread the religion to new areas without the adiminstrative burdens of a large empire.
