The Venadian Confederation of Labour (Venadian: Венадии Конфедерация Труда, transcript: Venadii Konfederatsiya Truda) is the largest National trade union center in the Republic of Venadia, and a recognized Public Organization since 1921. The majority of affiliated unions organizes blue-collar workers, but in recent decades public sector workers have become the majority of the VCL's members.
The VCL's primary decision-making body is the biennial congress, which elects the President and the Central Council who handle day-to-day affairs of the confederation. Sergei Chernenko has been the President of the VCL since 2010.
While the VCL is not directly affiliated with any political parties, it retains strong relations with the Socialist Party whom it endorses. The policies of the VCL tend to align with the left-wing of the Socialist Party.
