The Party of the Besmenian Left (Besmenian: Partei der Besmenischen Linke) is a democratic socialism party in Besmenia. The party was founded in 1998 as The Besmenian Left. The reason for the foundation of the PBL was the secession of the democratic socialist wing of the SDU.

In 2001 the party got its current name. In 2001 the PBL was represented in the Federal Chamber for the first time.
