The War of the Sivuk Gulf, alternately known as The Sivuk Gulf War, was a war between the main competitors within the Sivuk Gulf, fought from 1937 to 1943. The war started as a result of the discovery of wolframite and crude oil in the islets that dotted the entirety of the Sivuk Gulf, culminating in a conflict between the three states that resulted in the deadliest war within the region to date.
