Biography
Early Life
Herzog was born the third child of Isabella Baldwin and Heinrich Herzog, at their family estate in Sainte Marie, Lower Saxonie, Drambenburg.
Herzog's upbringing was a mix of harsh treatment from his father and deep care given to him by his nurse. As a child, Herzog would spend summers playing catch and stick ball with the house staff and his older brother, Heinrich.
During the fall months, Heinrich and Herzog would often go hunting with their father and uncle. They would hunt birds, deer, and aligators in the bayous surrounding Sainte Marie.
