The Desert Rats is a Zanarkian-Nihhonese action and adventure series that currently airs at the LBC and LBC Channel 6. The show follows the exploits of 4 allied solders; A Zanarkian, Rubrumian, Erebonian and Joyonghean who are a part of the Long Range Desert Group in the North Africanna and Middle East Campaign during the Second Europan War. Their mission: To attack, wreak havoc and harass the Quenminese Forces.

Lt. Philip Speirs | Richard Philip Todd | The unit's Zanarkian leader, is an intuitive, resourceful, clever and gritty-yet-compassionate leader. He wears the Zanarkian Army Slouch Hat for a head gear. His catchphrase is "Crikey Hell", expressing shock or pleasure. |
WO2. Henry Wilkins | Emrick Brennan | The Rubrumian member of the unit. An expert on the desert and on the local Arab tribes which inhabit it, Wilkins speaks fluent German and Arabic. Wilkins wears a black beret. |
Sgt. John Schneider | Waldemar Fegelein | A graduate of the Thors Military Academy, The Erebonian college-man-turned-soldier often chews bubblegum and wears a Brodie Helmet with a rubber band attaching a patch of the 21st Erebonian Parachute Regiment and 2 strips of gum. He is also shown to be a ladies man at some times. |
LCpl. Taizo Kim | Ryuk Chang-min | A Joyonghean immigrant to Nihhon-koku; He is the team's best wheelman and always has a firm belief that they will get out alive regardless of the harsh experiences. He is a positive thinker as well. He wears a Mk III helmet with a Joyonghean flag painted on the back with 3 chili peppers, referencing the interest of Joyongheans in spicy food. When not in combat, He is seen fermenting chili or eating Kimchi. |
Notable enemies included:
Maj. Nguyen Pham Trinh | William George Hoang | A dedicated, but honorable Quenminese officer and the Patrol's main nemesis. By the end of the series it becomes clear that Pham, although a cunning opponent, never stoops to the cruel methods of his fellow officers. |
