The State of the Order of the Dagger (Alemannisch: Dolchordenstaat), is a semi-independent constituent state in southern Dolchland, in Eurth. The state is situated in the Perle Islands, south of Panedonia, in the Dolch Sea. The Dolchenordenstaat consists of two islands: Großsalzaland and Bassenheim. They cover an area of roughly x square kilometres (y miles) and accommodate an estimated population of 2.5 million people. The state's capital is Perlehafen, in Großsalzaland. The Dolchordenstaat is a vassal state of the Kingdom of Panedonia, but governs itself autonomously.

In 1410, the Order of the Dagger was ousted from its last strongholds in mainland Argis after over a century of decline. The only exceptions were its chapters in Panedonian cities. The Dolchic knights appealed to the King of Panedonia for land with which they could restore their Order to its former glory. The knights were longstanding and exceptionally useful historical allies of the Kings in Panedonia, so the King granted the Order governorship of the Perle Islands. From there, the knights would succeed in developing the islands and building a strong navy.

The knights' seafaring prowess played a significant role in early Dolchic overseas colonialism and trade. The knights helped to found and protect colonies such as Rhodellia, which continues to host multiple chapters of the Order in the present day. However, the knights' overseas influence began waning in the early 17th century with the rise of the Ostalharun Kompanie.
