Jaljur is the capital and largest city of Tasiastan. It is also one of the largest cities in the world with a population of more than 16 million people. Ranked as a beta-global city, it is Tasiastan's premier industrial and financial centre, with an estimated GDP of 34 billion (PPP) as of 2019. Jaljur is Tasiastan's most cosmopolitan city, linguistically, ethnically, and religiously diverse, as well as one of Tasiastan's most secular and socially liberal cities. With its location at the edge of the Archismann Mountains and near the center of the Ausianan continent, Jaljur serves as a transport hub, and is home to Tasiastan's busiest airport, the Annah International Airport.
