Melmingia (Besmenian: Melmingen) is the capital and most populous city of the Besmenian state Maurenmark, and after Laitstadt the second largest city in Besmenia. Melmingia was from 1600 to 1921 the capital of the Kingdom of Besmenia, from 1921 to 1966 of the Besmenian Empire and from 1966 to 1967 the capital of the Besmenian Republic.
