The 44th Federal Parliament was elected at the 2020 Thermodolian National Assembly Election. On 9 August, 2020 the President of Thermodolia Jacob Zarman appointed Derak Gœs to the position of Prime Minister. Gœs was elected as Prime Minister on 10 August, 2020.

The Third Gœs Cabinet was established after Libertarian Alliance left the Left-Libertarian Coalition.

Although LA did agree to a Confidence and Supply Agreement with the new United Left Coalition. As such Lucy Sâva (LA) the former Minister of Transportation is no longer in that office and has been replaced by Ben Sæsa of the Socialist Alliance.
